This is not the first time I've been to Rattlesnake Ledge, but this was the first hike I have done with some of my friends. They haven't hiked much, so I decided to bring them here first for a quick and easy hike.
Rattlesnake Ledge is a pretty short and simple hike, it's very popular with families and people with pets too, as it's only around 4 miles roundtrip. The ledge itself gives great views over the lake and surrounding valley.
We did decide to go further on this hike, continuing to the second and third ledges which gave even better views. We actually missed the entrance to the third ledge, and ended up walking an extra mile into the Tiger mountain ridge trail, before realizing our mistake and heading back.
It was a very clear day out, making for some good pictures. Didn't see as much wildlife as I have here before, but I did see a chipmunk as we started our descent.
